I got an iPhone! I got an iPhone! I got an iPhone!

My 19 year old son (Disclaimer: He works in the Orlando Apple Store while going to college) has been telling me that I wouldn't leave the cave age till I got an iPhone. So I finally broke down and trashed my Treo 800 (WPS) and got the new 3gS.

Those who know me are not at all surprised that in less than two weeks I have over 40 apps on it --- and I love every one of them!

I held off for a long time because I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to sync my 4000 contacts and calendar from my contact manager (ACT). But with the help of a neat program called "CompanionLink" the sync went like a breeze.

I still can't figure why the iPhone gets the rap of not being up to speed for business folks --it does everything I need -- and then some.

There are far to many features to cover here but the short version is -- I'm bowled over with this marvel -- the one that is sutured right on to my right ear! If I only had one short sentence to describe the iphone it would be: "super easy -- and super good!"

Let me know your thoughts!

I think the bad rap is just a leftover from a couple years ago when BB dominated business apps. It seems like everyone comes out with an iPhone app first these days. I love my BB but would certainly be checking out the iPhone if I didn't have 2 years left on my darn contract they lock you into.

I also love the new tools that today’s technology is providing us. When Jack is blown away, we all should pay attention. I can remember when he found out about sticking knitting needles in IBM cards was the new thing on the block for finding properties! Always enjoy your enthuiasim Jack! TOM
