| October 22, 2008 | | How new real estate services evolve! |
When the Society was founded the only service offered was the Real
Estate CyberSpace Radio briefings. You may have wondered how we bring you all of
today's many Society member services without any additional cost to you. The new
services evolve in one of three ways:
- We develop, program and
deliver them in house. Examples of these tools are the E-Mail broadcast Wizard,
The National Networking and Referral Center, the Guru Help Line, Real Estate
CyberSpace Radio, the Chapter Member E-Communicator and of course these Real
Estate CyberSpace Alert briefings.
- We buy an existing
company and their programming and database assets. An example of this is the
RealBuyer Express program.
- We negotiate alliances
with companies that have compelling and valuable programs that we can bring to
members – free. Generally these services are based on either:
- An express version of
the service (valuable but without all features) or
- A free version which
either contains expanded features or extended trial periods only offered to
Society members. Examples of these are your SettlementRoom transaction tracker,
Demographics Now, Money Matrix and the Real Estate Shows virtual tours program.
After reviewing proposed affiliate services we only accept a small
percentage. New affiliations are usually recommended by Society members and the
guidelines for acceptance are:
- That the program or
service be of significant value to a large number of members, and
- That we can deliver
either the express version or an extended or enhanced trial free to members.
We stay
busy negotiating and developing special new member services so you can be right
on top of the latest and greatest! | | |
