Instead of simply searching in Podcast directories by categories, these folks search the spoken words inside the podcast in order to find exactly what you are looking for.<br /><br />To accomplish this they create a text index of the audio data from audio and video on the web, using speech-to-text technology. This enables them to search within a Podcast, not just within titles or metadata. The text-based search results include snippets from the audio portion to help you figure out if the result is relevant.
